Todays Skype was about summarising what we are working on at the moment. For module 1, this is our essay and our artefact reflecting on our practise. I must admit, I listened to a lot of this session and I found it particulary interesting to listen to the module 3 students talking about their final projects and artefacts! Adesola explained that the artefact is just a different way of communicating and expressing what we have written in our essays. Module 1 Focus Group - Synthesis of information through reflection

Tonights discussion covered many areas (as we always seem to do) and has left me with lots of questions. My head’s been in essay / artefact mode for a couple of weeks now and it was really nice to touch base with everyone and regroup in a discussion. It made me feel less isolated and comforted me to know where everyone was at and how we are all feeling! We spoke about tools of reflection and discussed what everyone has discovered about themselves and how they reflect. Adesola spoke about how we shouldn’t always learn by trying to prove something is wrong or right, that we shouldn’t always go down the route of ‘doubting something… proving our point and then persuading our audience of our point’. We spoke about how we can be curious of an idea and be open to different ideas. Since starting this course I have certainly realised that there is no right or wrong and that we must question ourselves and everything we discover to learn and reflect on ideas and experiences. Well done on everyone getting their essay drafts done! What a relief!
